Larry Towell Naomi Towell stands by the window inside of the abandoned farmhouse that is just down the road from our home. It is on the eastern edge of the farm. From the pioneer cemetery on the small knoll in
(...) the field across from the house, one can see the remains of four farms. Fifty years ago, this part of rural Ontario was heavily populated. Sparce human landscape remains. Naomi and I often come into this house to explore. My earliest pictures were taken of my sisters in abandoned houses who were about her age in this picture. If one is not carefull you will fall through the floor which has rotten away from the rain. Our nearest neighbours live two miles away. Lambton County, Ontario. Canada. 1992.
