From the 24th of July at Palazzo Callas Exhibitions, lights, projections and scenographic installations will transport the visitor to a Japan full of millenary rites. Specially designed installations will take the exhibition outside the Palazzo Callas as well.
“The exhibition will be a tribute to the figure of Maria Callas, through iconic images of the Magnum Photos archives, inspired by the work of Madam Butterfly by Maestro Giacomo Puccini, played by ‘La Divina’. The photographs and projections will tell the ancient traditions and modern lifestyle of Japan, in an interactive setting similar to a theatrical show”says Andréa Holzherr, Global Exhibitions Director Magnum Photos.
