Magnum Photos is delighted to sponsor two scholarship opportunities for photographers, open to individuals of all ages and nationalities.
We are seeking photographers who are passionate about documentary photography, eager to develop their projects, and skilled in storytelling through images. Applicants should include a statement highlighting their interest in a photography career and how this scholarship could support their aspirations.
We strongly encourage applications from individuals underrepresented in the photography industry, including women (female-identifying), people from lower socio-economic backgrounds, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and those from ethnic minority communities. We also value diverse educational pathways and do not require a minimum level of formal education.
Required materials
– One PDF file including one or two photo stories with no more than 30 images in total
– A Statement of Purpose in English explaining why you are applying and how this opportunity will benefit your practice
Applications are free and do not include any fees.
