The Square Print Sale Returns
Magnum Photos partners with the World Press Photo Foundation for the upcoming Square Print Sale, titled “Written by Light.”
From Monday, October 16 to Sunday, October 22, Magnum Photos will host the next online Square Print Sale, this time in partnership with the World Press Photo Foundation.
For this sale, titled Written by Light, Magnum photographers and estates are joined by 30 World Press Photo Contest winners in a collaborative curation of over 100 images. Together, they seek to explore what photography and their photographic practice means to them in the age of artificial intelligence.
Each image will be available to purchase as a limited-edition, signed or estate-stamped 6×6 print, priced at $110 (or £110/€120) during the week of the sale only.
The sale opens at 9 a.m. Eastern Time on Monday, October 16 and runs through until 23.59 p.m. on Sunday, October 22.
A selection of images will also be exhibited at the Unseen Amsterdam Photography Fair later this month (September 21–24), providing attendees with a rare opportunity to view and pre-order a selection of the images ahead of the full reveal on October 16.
