Jonas Bendiksen’s Messiahs
Australia’s Sunday Morning Herald and Le Monde in France have published a feature on Jonas Bendiksen’s book The Last Testament, for which the photographer met people around the globe who claim to be the Messiah returned. The Earth
To mark Earth Day, Zeit Online published commissioned a gallery of images by Magnum photographers from nine personal perspectives on the planet. See the gallery, which includes Susan Meiselas to Larry Towell, here.
American Black & White
Huck Magazine describes Matt Black and Elliot Erwitt’s joint exhibition at the Magnum’s London Print Room as operating in “graphic tandem” despite being shot almost half a century apart. Read the feature here.
Exhibitions of The Year
The Guardian cites Magnum’s Swaps exhibition as one of the best photography exhibitions of the year. The show, which features prints from David Hurn’s own collection, was built by swapping with other photographers’ work. Magnum Nominee Sohrab Hura’s solo show has also been included in the top 10 list. See the full run-down on The Guardian here.

Upon bequeathing his collection, Hurn spoke to Magnum about why he was so determined that it had a home in the country close to his heart. Read that interview here.
