Newsha Tavakolian Yassin, 35 years old the father of the family. Aisha, 25 years old, mother, from the Gwoza town living in Bakassi camp. They were living under the power of Boko Haram for 2 years. Yasmin: " One day
(...) I decided to run away, for it was a matter of life or death. So I ran away alone without my family, I remember in that time I was just thinking about myself and wondering to find a way to survive."
Aisha: " I just gave birth to my kid and my son was 2 days old, when my husband fled. In that time I was extremely sad and depressed, because as a woman giving birth to her child the only thing that you need the most is your husband next to you. We were separated for 2 years until the day I decided to run away and join my husband. My daughter was the one who was taking care of her siblings until a few months later that our city was liberated by Nigerian soldiers, my youngest son got shot on the leg. I was separated from my children for 3 months and I haven't had any news from them.
